Back to School

That time again - Already? Wow the summer went by so fast. I had my first official day back to work going to teacher meetings and working in my classroom and it was so awful leaving Chayla. Mostly because she still doesn't like drinking fro, a bottle so she wouldn't eat for Nicole (our Neighbor who is watching Chay) or Jake. I got so worried about her that I asked my principle if I could leave early - I actually starting crying out of nowhere. He told me I was having withdrawls but it was ok. I;ts going to be harder for me than her. Once she accepts the bottle it will be fine and she will have fun with other kids around to play with. It'll be a rough start but I'm excited to go back to school. I love teaching and we are going to have a fun year!

Last week was my last week of summer break and i decided we needed one more picnic at the park. So I packed some sandwiches and fruit and our old heels of bread - for the birds - and headed over to the duck park where Jake met us after work. For some reason I'm not aware of ducks love bread. And I love giving to them because they all came flocking over to our side of the pond and were competing for the crumbs. It was so nice just laying out on the blanket enjoying nature and doing duck impressions for Chayla - something I do so well I'm thinking about adding it to my resume. It was great just relaxing with my wonderful hubby and my beautiful baby and de-stressing before starting work on Friday.
