New Christmas outfit

Isn't she adorable in blue? Who says its a boys' color? Although I must admit the bow is almost a necessity - it adds a very feminine touch. Thank you to Santa gma Jen and Santa gpa Kelly!







She also loves the mobile that came with the pack n' play. We keep it above the changing table for distracting her and it works wonders.

Reverse Charades

Haha, I love the lasers in this one :)

Reverse Charades is a great family game. Everyone acts silly together and its a blast. The best ones were roadkill, bikini (lingerie), barbecue - it took me at least 5 minutes to get Jake to guess this one, and really all of them were fun.

Christmas eve and Day

I got a new bib and a Christmas bear on Christmas eve. We named him Mr. Bean.

I'm the best Christmas present ever!

I'm ready for bed but this is so much fun. I think I'll stay up too late and then be super fussy all night so mom and dad let me sleep between them and get no rest themselves.

Her plan worked :( I was so tired Christmas morning. Everyone started opening presents without me and Jake had to wake me up twice.

But I'm glad I got up. How could I miss this! Chayla got cute new pj's.

All I got for Christmas was my cute front tooth!

7 months old!

Changes this month:

Chayla got her first tooth.

She is more and more talkative

She can feed herself little cheerios and actually get them in her mouth

She is sleeping through the night more consistently.

First Christmas!

Holds a sippy cup but doesn't tip it yet.

First time trying pears and peas

First time falling off the bed :( She was ok

Does the "stink bug pose" and scoots backwards very well.

Cool. Something I can chew on that's supposed to go in my mouth.

I'm so tired but mom says I have to brush my tooth before bed.

Give me the milk and noone gets hurt.

Malea is finally here! We got to visit them in the AF hospital and she is a cutie. How could you not love that face?

She has discovered toothbrushes. This is awesome since she has a tooth now. Gotta start good habits early.

We put Chayla in the tub naked in her bumbo. This way I could feed her some carrots and it was ok if she got totally messy. She had a lot of fun smearing and dumping it everywhere. Then when she was finished we just hosed it all down and gave her a bath. Genius I know!
